Gather with Neighbors
Share and celebrate the cultural showcase that we have in our own backyard.
Local organizations are collaborating on a one-day, family-friendly event, held on South Hanchett Street and Tibbits Plaza in Downtown Coldwater. Cultural Jubilee is meant to be a true gathering of neighbors wherein we celebrate the many cultural identities and traditions that thrive in our city and our county.
People and groups can choose to be vendors selling specially-crafted items and foods with cultural significance, or host a unique educational exhibit. There will be an empathy experiment hosted by the BCCADSV, and several special events throughout the day that take place on stages and other designated areas. These could include music or dance performances, cultural fashion shows, connecting conversations and more.
Exhibitor/Vendors applications are now being accepted!
In trying to get a head start on engaging critical perspectives, we have already had many conversations with local groups, residents, and workers, and look forward to a robust lineup of activities and booths.
The event will be fun, engaging and educational.
But only if we can rally enough community support to bring the vision to life! Donations may be made to Branch County Community Foundation Special Projects Fund - Cultural Jubilee. Please join us through your gift!
